<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p><br></p><p>To ensure that parts operations and referred work is dealt with and completed appropriately within company guidelines and timescales whilst ensuring effective use of company assets and resources.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><p><br></p><p><em>Drives performance to achieve key targets and deliver continuous improvement</em></p><p>• Handles the day to day operations of the Parts department to ensure the achievement of key targets</p><p>• Creates and manages parts requisitions</p><p>• Process orders from requisitions and dispenses items from stock</p><p>• Maintains inventory control and stock rotation</p><p>• Enters information into the company system to maintain up-to date stock levels and customer information, respond to inquiries on stock levels and delivery times</p><p>• Assists in the invoicing of parts to external customers</p><p>• Maintains agreed profit margins and return on investment by selling the maximum amount of parts to trade and retail customers</p><p>• Maintains an efficient parts service to other departments within the Dealership</p><p>• Implements systems to monitor and record lost sales, reviews data and takes appropriate action</p><p>• Maintains stock levels, purchasing within agreed budgets</p><p>• Controls and meets budgetary spending targets, discussing significant variations with the relevant Managers/Dealer Principal</p><p>• Monitors stock overheads and stock values, reporting any which exceed the budget to the Dealer Principal</p><p>• Analyses current procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement</p><p>• Answer incoming calls, emails and resolving parts concerns</p><p>• Ensures the Parts team follows procedures and records all transactions, liaising with other departments as required</p><p>• Coordinates collection and delivery of components from one location to another both for external and internal sales.</p><p>• The above Job Purpose is not exhausted and can be added to at any time</p><p><em>Works as a full member of the Dealership team</em></p><p>• Works with colleagues and other teams across the Dealership to deliver improvements and provide a seamless service to customers</p><p>• Uses feedback to improve skills and performance of self and the Parts team </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>3 years+ experience in Parts Administration is a must</li><li>Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent</li><li>English Proficiency</li><li>MS Office proficiency</li></ul>
