We currently are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager to support client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services and participate in Enterprise Risk external client engagements and internal projects. This role will particularly focus on Life Sciences as a sector including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, pharmacies, distributors and medical device companies.<p><br></p>As a risk professional, you will be addressing client issues and transformations relating to Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Program Risk Management, process and controls design and effectiveness, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) implementations. Our solutions can be used by our clients to build confidence and trust with their customers, and the overall market.<p><br></p>Our Life Sciences ER team members support clients in building a certain level of confidence and trust with their customers, the overall market, and when required by regulation or contract.<p><br></p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p>As an Assistant Manager you:<p><br></p><ul><li>Support your team with large transformational client engagements as well as internal projects.</li><li>Responsible for effectively engaging with Client engagements primarily in the areas of Business Risk services, Internal audit, Enterprise Risk management, Compliance and regulatory services, GRC, Internal controls, Contract Risk Services, Business Process Management, and other related solutions. </li><li>Supervise and review work performed by subordinates and provide qualitative inputs before submission of deliverables to EY Managers.</li><li>Take up project execution responsibility in a team or individually as per requirements and work plan.</li><li>Train and support junior team members within the department to grow their career.</li><li>Communicate project delivery improvement areas and support the clients to help deliver the project on time and within budget.</li><li>Maintain communication and report to higher levels of management, who will expect you to anticipate and identify risks, and escalate any issues as appropriate.</li><li>Ensure the consistent delivery of excellent, high-quality work products by EY teams, providing a platform to build and maintain our global brand, reputation, and purpose.</li><li>Support in leading client meetings and discussions (when required).</li><li>Build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.</li><li>Build strong internal relationships within Ernst &amp; Young Consulting Services and with other services across the organization</li><li>Conduct performance reviews and contributing to performance feedback.</li><li>Support your team with global and regional bids, proposals, and thought leaderships. </li><li>Communicate effectively with EY senior management and working to build, manage and motivate high-performing teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills And Attributes For Success</strong><p><br></p><strong>To qualify for the role, you must have</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas: biopharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy, engineering, business, accounting, or other relevant areas.</li><li>Approximately 3 – 4+ years of work experience in risk transformation with a working as an internal auditor or risk/compliance consultant for a professional services firm (Big Four, Strategy House or equivalent), with a proven record of experience in the life science (pharma, biotech, medical devices) or healthcare industry (hospitals, healthcare providers, regulatory agencies).
