We are leaders in plasma-derived medicines and transfusion medicine and develop, produce and market innovative medicines, solutions and services in more than 110 countries and regions.<p><br></p><strong><u>Job Objective</u></strong><p><br></p>Key member in Finance/ Accounting to deliver high quality, accurate and transparent financial reporting on a timely basis and to ensure compliance with Finance Manual and local reporting requirements .<p><br></p>In charge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, taxation, systems roll-out and finance-related internal controls of GEPD<p><br></p><strong><u>Key Responsibility</u></strong><p><br></p><u> System Rollout </u><p><br></p><ul><li> Key member in Implementation of Finance module in SAP, including but not limited to understanding local requirements in analysis phase, chart of accounts mapping, participate in user acceptance testing. </li><li> Support any other Finance, IT initiatives. </li></ul><p><br></p><u> Accounting and Reporting </u><ul><li> Responsible for General Ledger, all closing and reporting activities:</li><ul><li> Monthly, quarter-end and year-end closing process; </li><li> Prepare journal entries in SAP; </li><li> Review accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by team member; </li><li> Provide guidance to team member on accounting entries and process; </li><li> Prepare periodic balance sheet and profit &amp; loss analysis, including quarterly balance sheet review deck; </li><li> Inter-company reconciliation; </li><li> Design and agree with CFO on month-end activities checklists and cut off timeline for key deliverables; </li><li> Review annual reporting package, in charge of accurate upload of financial data on to Grifols Business Intelligence system. </li></ul><li> Accounts receivable: Perform monthly aging analysis and monitor bad debt exposure and highlight to management; </li><li> Accounts payable: Review payments prepared by the team before submitting for approvals. </li></ul><p><br></p><u> Statutory Requirements </u><p><br></p><ul><li> Liaise with external auditors and lead the audit process; </li><li> Prepare audit schedules for annual audit; </li><li> Working with Supply Chain to ensure completeness of cycle counts and annual physical count; </li><li> Working with tax consultants to ensure tax compliance and on-time tax filings; </li><li> Prepare tax information for tax filings. </li></ul><p><br></p><u> Internal Controls </u><p><br></p><ul><li> Uphold and improve accounting related internal controls; </li><li> Ensure zero accounting related non-compliance in internal controls and internal audits. </li></ul><p><br></p><u> Process Management </u><p><br></p><ul><li> Identify, support, and manage any process improvement initiative. </li></ul><p><br></p><u> People Management </u><p><br></p><ul><li> Provide guidance, coaching and feedback to subordinate(s) and fellow team members; </li><li> Establish performance objectives for subordinate(s), monitor performance and provide periodic feedback. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Academic Experience Required</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Accounting </li><li> Certified Management Accountant (preferred) </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Professional Experience Required</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit firm </li><li> Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience with supervisory role in multi-national organization </li><li> SOX &amp; internal controls experience preferred </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Computing Skills</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Good command in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint </li><li> Experience in ERP system; SAP experience preferred </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Personal Skills</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Strong analytical skills </li><li> Strong written and spoken communication skills </li><li> High level of integrity and trust </li><li> Self-motivating and able to motivate others </li><li> Strong desire and ability to embrace change </li><li> Flexible and quick learner </li><li> Ability to work under time pressure </li><li> Good Time Management </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Languages</u></strong><p><br></p>Fluent in English<p><br></p><strong>Location: EMEA : Egypt : Egypt : EGTOLIP – Tolip El Narges-New Cairo </strong><p><br></p>Learn more about Grifols<p><br></p>
