<p>We are looking for an experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist for our client in Al Ain, a 50 bed multi-speciality hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><p><u>Outpatient Department</u></p><p><br></p><p>Provide outpatient consultations including: complete patient evaluation, diagnosis, explanation of treatment plan and medications required.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Inpatient Department</u></p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Should be able to self-administer his/her own cases. Taking full charge from the admission of the patient to the time of patient discharge.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide technical support to nurses and other staff by training them about new techniques in the Gastroenterology field.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Procedures</u></p><p><br></p><p>Proficient in performing a variety of Gastroenterology procedures using a host of different techniques. Including an ample amount of experience in performing scopies and ERCPs&nbsp;and Endoscopic Ultrasounds&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u>Other Responsibilities</u></p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide patient care in accordance with local/international standards to ensure quality of treatment and patient safety.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Follow shifts as scheduled.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintaining and updating patient records as and when required.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Willing to fulfil other responsibilities as needed to ensure efficient functioning of the department.</p><p><br></p><p>Skills &amp; Competencies&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Should be available to join immediately&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Should have exceptional communication skills in order to keep patients’ constantly updated about their reports and any follow up required</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;HAAD / DHA / MOH Passer OR Eligibility Letter</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;MBBS or MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Completion of specialty qualification as per the Recognised Specialty Certificate in Gastroenterology&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience: More than&nbsp;5&nbsp;years post qualification.</p>
