As pioneers in bringing together the realms of technology and luxury, YOOX NET-A-PORTER satisfies the most discerning clientele with expertly curated products from the world’s most coveted brands, personalised end-to-end service, the latest technology, and inspiring content, all shaped by 20 years of insights into the modern shopper<p><br></p>Our Middle East Finance Department is now seeking a talented, passionate, and energetic Finance Intern to join the Controlling & Accounting team.<p><br></p><strong>Location:</strong> Dubai<p><br></p><strong>Duration:</strong> 6 months<p><br></p><strong>The Role:</strong><p><br></p>The Finance Intern, as any member of the team, has an opportunity to have a 360º vision over our Finance department. Development and engagement are the main characteristics of the role as he/she will be working closely with both Controlling and Accounting sides of all YNAP Group brands.<p><br></p>The role requires someone rigorous and detail-oriented with good communication skills as the role is very interactive with all Finance teams across the Group, based in Italy, United-Kingdom, and United States of America.<p><br></p><strong>What you will be doing:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Support the Controlling Team on the day-to-day activities</li><li>Produce Weekly and Monthly Commercial/Retail Reports</li><li>Support Accounting Team with AP Postings and Accounts Reconciliations</li><li>Process Monthly Shipment Billing</li><li>Support with the Monthly P&L Preparation</li><li>Implement new reports using BI tools</li><li>Support on the monthly closing activities</li><li>Assist the team in ad hoc projects as required</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What are we are looking for:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Highly motivated, passionate, and eager to learn individual</li><li>Good communication skills and collaborative attitude are a must</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li><li>Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be a plus</li><li>Knowledge in BI tools will be a plus</li><li>Ability to work successfully in a fast-moving environment and to meet tight deadlines</li><li>Proactive and able to show initiative to constantly improve finance processes</li><li>Preferably enrolled student in their last year of master’s or fresh graduates with majors in Finance, Accounting and/or Business administration</li><li>Previous experience within the field is preferred</li></ul><p><br></p>From the moment you join the YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP we are committed to making your journey with us inspirational and evolutionary.
