With Shory, a new time has begun.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role & Opportunity</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Project Manager, PMO</strong> to join our Abu Dhabi team who will be responsible to see and maintain standards for project portfolio governance process as well as the project management framework and project execution for relevant projects. Creates procedures, and best practices to enable an effective and efficient project delivery which includes cost, quality, time and benefits realized.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensure a deep understanding of organization strategy, culture, employees, customers and product. In depth knowledge of each product, usage and analysis</li><li>Create, maintain and drive portfolio projects including planning, governance, project methodology framework, resource capability management</li><li>Prepare program risks and resource availability</li><li>Gather data about project progress and product reports</li><li>Develop project standards and processes; Manage resources for projects</li><li>Creates projects into work packages with timelines, allocation of resources, monitoring mechanisms, communication, risks and costs</li><li>Monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met</li><li>Create templates, dashboards and tracking mechanisms; Define KPIs and timelines to ensure aligned deliverables</li><li>Establish frameworks and standards for Programme and project management related financial and KPI information and resource tracking</li><li>Ensure cross team dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained</li><li>Define project control, agenda, charter and governance</li><li>Determine project risks and implement mitigation plans</li><li>Conduct relevant business gap analysis to identify opportunity areas</li><li>Research engineering, data, regulatory and operational problems to create sustainable solutions</li><li>Ensure deep root cause analysis to identify issues and build collective action</li><li>Work across multiple teams to drive large scale, cross functional initiatives to completion</li><li>Enable and drive collaboration between products, teams and key business partners</li><li>Build strong and open relationships across teams and capability streams</li><li>Provide updates and reports relating to projects overall progress, health of projects, milestones, financial information about budgets, forecast, actuals, margins</li><li>Participate in completion of weekly and month end reports for internal and external stakeholders and partners</li><li>Prepare presentations to improve the project and improve the efficiency</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Skills, Education & Experience Required</strong></p><p><br></p><p>To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 8 to 10 years of experience in a PMO role within hands on experience in development of digital products, preferably with technology companies in following industries: insurance, banking or financial services.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or other</li><li>Masterβs degree or MBA an asset</li><li>PMP certification is a must</li><li>Hands on experience in Jira and DevOps is a must</li><li>Hands on experience in Agile, Prince2 methodology is a must</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills for contracts, vendor and resource management</li><li>Excellent MS word, excel, power point and MS project skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you have the relevant experience and are interested in being part of our team, please take the time to apply for this position.</p>
