<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Manage the store effectively through control of stock, security, shrinkage, administration and be a customer centric team leader and develop, train &amp; motivate the store team to achieve the objectives of the company.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Achieve the <strong>sales &amp; margin</strong> objectives for the assigned store.</p><p>Understanding of basic retail KPIs: Average basket, footfall, number of invoices &amp; conversion rate. </p><p><br></p><p>Achieve the <strong>inventory-related</strong> objectives for the assigned store</p><p> Understanding of basic retail KPIs: stock reached forward, inventory holding value, stock, the function of supply chain store Inventory, control the re-ordering in the function of the business, managing overstock, manage returns, stock transfers, negative stocks, shrinkage control.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>People Management</strong>:</p><ol><li>Hiring, evaluation feedback with monthly cockpit meetings, training &amp; coaching on the job, PIP plan, daily store motivational briefings, schedule planning in the function of footfall and needs of the business. Keep records of employees’ work schedules and time cards. </li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Marketing</strong>:</p><ol><li>In accordance with the marketing team translate the e&gt;city Marketing Calendar in the store. Coordinate in-store roadshows &amp; monitor the implementation at floor level. </li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Systems &amp; procedures</strong>:</p><ol><li>Ensure proper implementation of store organization/operating procedures / Inventory schedules/stock adjustment/documentation/control store security procedures. </li><li>Identify potential security risks and thefts and take preventive measures to control pilferage/loss. </li><li>Follow up with the concerned department on maintenance issues.</li><li>Implement the proper e&gt;city merchandising guidelines. </li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Customer service</strong>:</p><ol><li>Ensure that the customer needs are met satisfactorily through trained staff, customer service initiatives, customer feedback mechanisms, etc.</li><li>Ensure that E-City proactively meets customer needs and provides customers with a unique shopping experience.</li><li>Control customer product delivery process in coordination with the home delivery team to ensure customers get their products on time.</li><li>Control aftersales services such as exchange/refunds in coordination with service teams.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in management preferably in retail management (or equivalent by experience) </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>Minimum of 4 to 5 years experience working as a store manager (preferred in consumer electronics).</p>
