<p><strong>★ Hiring for Applus Velosi, Saudi Arabia ★</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As a Telecommunication Engineer at Applus Velosi, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunication systems for our clients. You will work closely with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of telecom infrastructure projects. Your expertise in telecom engineering will play a crucial role in supporting the effective communication and connectivity requirements of our clients.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Collaborate with clients and project teams to gather requirements and develop detailed designs for telecommunication systems, including voice, data, video, and wireless networks. Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in telecom engineering.</li><li>Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of telecom equipment, such as switches, routers, servers, and network components. Ensure proper integration and functionality of the telecom network infrastructure.</li><li>Conduct network performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and quality of service. Identify and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity, bandwidth, and latency problems.</li><li>Manage telecom projects from initiation to completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting, and timeline management. Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are achieved.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of telecom designs, network configurations, installation procedures, and project-related documentation. Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and industry guidelines related to telecom engineering. Conduct quality assurance checks to verify adherence to technical specifications, standards, and project requirements.</li><li>Provide technical support to clients regarding telecom systems, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance on network usage, maintenance, and upgrades. Deliver training sessions or presentations to educate clients on telecom system functionalities.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in telecom engineering, including emerging technologies, protocols, and industry standards. Identify opportunities for innovation and propose solutions to enhance telecom infrastructure.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Telecommunication engineer or similar.</li><li>Experience in processing mobile communications measurements (drive test), 2G, 3G, 4G and preferably 5G.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of telecommunication systems, network protocols, and technologies.</li><li>Knowledge in the use of TEMS Investigation type measurement equipment and TEMS Discovery processing software.</li><li>Knowledge of basic RF optimization tasks (first tuning, neighbor cell analysis, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge of mobile communications layer 3 parameter analysis.</li></ul>
