<p><strong>Fintactics Ventures is currently in search of a Senior Technical Lead to join our growing team. As a specialized fintech venture capital fund and venture builder, we work hand-in-hand with startups across the Kingdom, the MENA region, and beyond, fueling their acceleration and catalyzing regional expansion. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in driving the evolution and execution of our digital infrastructure and fintech platform. We are in search of a skilled and seasoned professional who possesses the capability and fervor to push boundaries in the Fintech sector.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide leadership and technical expertise to the development team, in collaboration with design and testing teams.</li><li>Utilize your extensive knowledge of Python and the Django framework to guide the technical direction of projects and to solve complex problems.</li><li>Develop and maintain technology architectures and infrastructure; plan and execute their design and implementation.</li><li>Offer technical leadership to the team, coordinating with senior management to carry out strategies.</li><li>Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration into our tech stack.</li><li>Ensure technology architecture aligns with business goals and complies with regulations.</li><li>Establish systems to monitor the performance and reliability of tech infrastructure and applications.</li><li>Guide and mentor junior developers in enhancing their technical skills.</li><li>Oversee and monitor the work hours of each team member, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.</li><li>Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members as needed, ensuring they are a good fit for the team and are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively.</li><li>Facilitate continuous learning and development for team members through training and educational programs, to keep skills updated and the team at the forefront of fintech developments.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of 8 years experience in software development, preferably in fintech or related fields.</li><li>Proficiency in Python, Django, and associated technologies (e.g., Spring framework, Hibernate).</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker).</li><li>Exposure to Security & Compliance experience, particularly with certifications like SOC2, ISO27001, GMP, HIPPA, PCI, etc.</li><li>Experience in infrastructure as code, using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.</li><li>Proven leadership experience in tech settings, directing teams and driving tech direction on projects.</li><li>Scrum Master Certification or similar is preferred.</li><li>Specific experience in developing fintech solutions for startups.</li><li>Prior experience in major fintech firms, preferably in the Saudi market.</li><li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Ability to meet project deliverables and deadlines with high quality.</li><li>Join our team and be part of shaping the future of fintech.
