Our client is the region’s largest alternative dispute resolution center.<p><br></p>We are looking for a Temporary Marketing & Events Executive for a<strong> 2-month contract. </strong><p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><strong><em>Events</em></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Support in the planning and organizing of the company/center’s events and trainings;</li><li>Prepare post-event reports or briefs as and when required;</li><li>Answer, screen, and channel inquiries received by phone and e-mail.</li><li>Oversee the coordination, management, organisation, hosting, and sponsorship of conferences, seminars, lectures and other events relating to arbitration, mediation and other forms of ADR, including Dubai Arbitration Week, to promote the center;</li><li>Cooperate and establish relationships with local, regional, and international centres, societies and organisations specialising in arbitration, mediation and other forms of ADR to promote the center<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong><em>Marketing</em></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Create awareness of and develop the company’s brand;</li><li>Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns;</li><li>Source advertising opportunities;</li><li>Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts;</li><li>Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns; </li><li>Run social media channels;</li><li>Source and secure sponsorship;</li><li> Conduct market research & develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.</li><li>Support the Strategy & Marketing Manager in the preparation of strategic documentation for review of the Board of Directors.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>You will have experience of working in the public and/or third sectors and several years of experience of<br><br>overseeing business organizational activities, and should:<br></strong><ul><li> Be a self-motivated team-player;</li><li>Possess strong inter-personal, time management and administrative skills;</li><li>Have excellent attention to detail;</li><li>Write clearly, persuasively and concisely;</li><li>Have analytical and evaluative skills;</li><li>Have an organised approach to work;</li><li>Be punctual and meet deadlines;</li><li>Take responsibility for your own actions and demonstrate drive and enthusiasm in everyday work;</li><li>Recognize and suggest ideas for improvement in your own work and seek to solve problems independently;</li><li> Work well under pressure;</li><li>Have experience of conflict management and business negotiation skills;</li><li>Have budget development and oversight skills;</li><li>Achieve planned work and set own performance standards; and</li><li>Be able to build strong working relationships both internally and externally<br><br></li></ul>Qualifications:<br><ul><li>High command of English and Arabic</li><li>Excellent skills in organising, prioritising, and coordinating</li><li>Tact and discretion in dealing with clients<br><br></li></ul>Reports to: Events Manager
