<p><strong>Position: Specialist – Performance Management</strong></p><p><strong>Business Unit: Human Resource </strong></p><p><strong>Reports to: Manager – Engagement &amp; PMS</strong></p><p><strong>Announcement Closing date: 25 July 2023</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><strong>Role Purpose</strong></p><p>To provide professional support to the Performance Management activities (design, implementation, monitoring) and annual cycle in order to improve the performance culture within OIA and ensure the alignment of the performance management system with the Authority’s business plan and strategy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee all the Performance Management System (PMS) activities to ensure they meet OIA’s and business expectations.</li><li>Suggest enhancement to the Performance Management System and oversee the assigned projects associated with any improvement to ensure their alignment with OIA’s strategic objectives and industry’s best practices.</li><li>Track the Performance Management System (PMS) progress and activities during the business year to ensure its on track with the deadlines and timings.</li><li>Analyze and provide reports on performance measurement results to present the outcomes and actions to be taken.</li><li>Ensure all individuals’ performance gaps, competencies, and behaviors gaps are communicated to the concerned parties to develop them and follow up on the IDPs accordingly.</li><li>Oversee the individuals Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) to monitor individuals’ performance improvements.</li><li>Provide trainings to all related parties on SMART methodology and its criticality to the performance management to raise the awareness and optimize the PMS process at OIA.</li><li>Develop and conduct presentations and trainings to OIA parties and staff on the performance appraisal system to ensure their understanding and buy-in.</li><li>Support in the development and implementation of OIA’s core competencies, core values, and key performance measures to translate them into the performance appraisal system and evaluation.</li><li>Support PMS system automation to enforce goal-setting and objective-achieving in accordance with OIA’s goals.</li><li>Comply with the implementation of departmental policies and procedures, to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled.</li><li>Comply with all relevant health, safety, and quality requirements, in order to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance.</li><li>Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘leading best practices’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><p><strong>Educations &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Human Resource Management, or any other relevant field.</li><li>SHRM, CIPD, HRCI is desirable</li><li>6 – 8 years of relevant experience</li><li>Fluency in English is essential.</li><li>Fluency in Arabic is desirable.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office is essential (especially Excel and PowerPoint)</li><li>Experience with other business-related software is desirable</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Competencies &amp; Skills </strong></p><ul><li>Discipline &amp; Punctuality</li><li>Creative and Innovative Thinking</li><li>Teamwork &amp; Cooperation</li><li>Planning and Organizing</li><li>Communicating and Influencing</li><li>Problem Solving</li><li>Achievement Drive &amp; Self-Motivation</li><li>Analytical Thinking</li><li>Decision Making and Judgment</li></ul>
