<p><strong>Position: Senior Officer – Digital Media</strong></p><p><strong>Business Unit: Media & Communication</strong></p><p><strong>Reports to: Manager -Communications Operations</strong></p><p><strong>Announcement Closing date: 25 July 2023</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:</strong></p><p>To assist in the planning and implementation of content marketing programs and digital ad campaigns on the appropriate channels, participate in providing oversight and input to different digital communication initiatives, and identify issues that require attendance in order to increase brand awareness with OIA’s core target markets through the effective use of digital media channels.</p><p><br></p><p><strong> Key Roles & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Contribute to growing OIA’s digital audience and support the smooth running of the companies’ digital channels by producing and posting innovative and engaging content to ensure the delivery of the key messages and appeal to their target audiences.</li><li>Assist in the development of OIA’s social media procedures, templates, tools, reporting methodologies, standards and retention schedules to ensure the implementation of these guidelines and that they comply with OIA’s policies.</li><li>Assist in reviewing and analyzing comments and conversations on OIA’s Digital sites and on their external social media, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc. to identify insights and emerging trends, as well as assess OIA’s digital reach while searching for potential opportunities.</li><li>Go over analytics and data sources and produce periodic reports for the Manager -Communications Operations on the performance of OIA’s social media channels to assess impact efficiency of the companies’ digital activity and make recommendations to refine their approach for future improvement.</li><li>Assist the Manager – Communications Operations with arranging and delivering media training to other stakeholders across OIA and its entities to improve the communication strategies and raise stakeholder engagement / brand awareness.</li><li>Aid in the coordination with external vendors on the creation and development of digital content and providing up-to-date and comprehensive services to ensure executional excellence in social marketing campaigns and advertisement goals.</li><li>Comply with the implementation of departmental policies and procedures, to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled.</li><li>Comply with all relevant health, safety, and quality requirements, in order to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance.</li><li>Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘leading best practices’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><p><strong>Educations & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or any relevant field</li><li>Professional qualification, or evidence of training/development in social media marketing (CIM, IDM, etc.) is desirable</li><li>3 to 5 years of related work experience</li><li>Fluency in English is essential</li><li>Fluency in Arabic is advantageous</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office is essential (especially Excel and PowerPoint)</li><li>Experience with website content management systems (Luminate Online, WordPress) and managing social media channels</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Discipline & Punctuality</li><li>Creative and Innovative Thinking</li><li>Teamwork & Cooperation</li><li>Planning and Organizing</li><li>Communicating and Influencing</li><li>Problem Solving</li><li>Achievement Drive & Self-Motivation</li><li>Analytical Thinking</li><li>Decision Making and Judgment</li></ul>
