<p>Job Description:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Being responsible for all elements of ongoing account management and developing excellent client relationships with hoteliers;</li><li>Securing and negotiating competitive rates;</li><li>Creating and maintaining calendars for key events;</li><li>Negotiating rates and availability with hotels;</li><li>Visiting and inspecting hotels on a regular basis to ensure good standards;</li><li>Meeting with hoteliers and representing the company;</li><li>Ensuring that all contracts are received to deadline, and that contract conditions are met;</li><li>Dealing with disputes regarding rates, allotment, etc;</li><li>Liaising with other members of staff to ensure the best possible use of contracted hotel deals</li><li>Supervising a team of operations staff in maintaining day-to-day operations;</li><li>Increasing profitability for the company;</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Requirements:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Negotiation and business development skills;</li><li>Excellent communication skills;</li><li>Confident and determined approach;</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team;</li><li>Ability to flourish in a competitive environment;</li><li>Self motivated, uses initiative and problem solver;</li><li>Willingness to go beyond the call of duty to get the job done;</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and willingness to meet deadlines;</li><li>Ability to communicate with people of different nationalities and to develop close working relationships with suppliers to achieve optimum results</li></ul><p><br></p>
