<p>We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) manager to manage our engaged &amp; productive employees. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR &amp; recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures. The bulk of the role will involve employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, and conflict resolution, but there is a great opportunity for developing and refining systems. We are eager to find an HR manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversees the daily workflow of the department. Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR’s existing and recommended systems and processes</li><li>Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.</li><li>Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.</li><li>Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records</li><li>Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages</li><li>Assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs</li><li>Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Daily and Monthly Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.</li><li>Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction</li><li>Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations and investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.</li><li>Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors</li><li>Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.</li><li>Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision</li><li>Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.</li><li>Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures</li><li>Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.</li><li>Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.</li><li>Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.</li><li>Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration</li><li>Handle confidential matters with discretion</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in human resources</li><li>3+ years in human resources or recruitment</li><li>HR Qualification like SHRM/CIPD</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with an ethical mindset and attention to detail.</li><li>Adept at analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution</li><li>Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems</li><li>Proficiency with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.</li><li>Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.</li><li>Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.</li></ul>
