<ul><li>Opportunity to work within a top tier-local government entity|Excellent growth opportunities for UAE Nationals<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>About Our Client<br><br></strong>Top-tier local government entity in Abu Dhabi.<br><br><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures</li><li>Monitor data quality metrics and conduct regular assessments and audits</li><li>Collaborate with data owners, stakeholders, and IT teams for improvement initiatives</li><li>Perform data profiling, analysis, and validation to identify issues</li><li>Utilise data quality tools to assess completeness, validity, and accuracy</li><li>Develop and execute validation scripts or queries to rectify problems</li><li>Work with teams to rectify discrepancies and ensure data standardisation</li><li>Implement data cleansing techniques and document resolutions</li><li>Evaluate processes and propose enhancements to workflows and tools</li><li>Standardise data entry processes and enforce best practices</li><li>Support data governance frameworks and ensure compliance</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and provide guidance and training to users.<br></li></ul><strong>The Successful Applicant<br><br></strong><ul><li>UAE National with Family Book (REQUIRED)</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.</li><li>5 + years of experience as a data engineer or similar role, with expertise in data pipeline development and data integration.</li><li>Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, and/or Java.</li><li>Proficiency in working with data engineering tools and technologies, such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL-based databases, ETL frameworks, and cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).</li><li>Solid understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and data warehousing concepts.</li><li>Experience with data visualisation tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data challenges.</li><li>Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.</li></ul><strong>What’s on Offer<br></strong><ul><li>Opportunity to work within a top tier-local government entity.</li><li>Excellent growth opportunities for UAE Nationals.<br></li></ul><strong>Contact: Riddhi Wanchoo<br><br></strong><strong>Quote job ref: JN-072023-6117190</strong>
