They provide process improvement, R&D and subject matter expertise across a wide range of specialist areas in the energy sector.<p><br></p>Within the Power & Grid team, Turner Lovell are currently recruiting for Asset Maintenance Experts with a background in equipment operations.<p><br></p>The team is comprised of 10 experts reporting to Asset Managers. The experts are responsible for analysing the technical and operational aspects of the asset, identifying potential issues, and providing recommendations to optimize its performance. They may also be involved in designing, constructing, and commissioning power generation assets. – Gas Turbines Maintenance Expert<p><br></p><ul><li> Steam Turbines Maintenance Expert</li><li> Generators Maintenance Expert</li><li> I&C Systems Maintenance Expert</li><li> Boilers Maintenance Expert</li></ul><p><br></p>The ideal candidates have experience working in the maintenance management of turbines, generators, boilers or I&C systems to propose and develop strategies to improve performance and efficiency.<p><br></p><strong>K</strong><strong>e</strong><strong>y Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p>The key responsibilities include technical aspects related to maintenance activities of a portfolio of power generation assets in Saudi.<p><br></p><strong><u>During The Assignment, The Experts Will Support The Client</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance and efficiency of power generation systems.</li><li>Conduct technical studies, evaluate new technologies, and provide recommendations on issues affecting the reliability of the assets.</li><li>Support the client with asset inspection and health index estimation.</li><li>Recommend preventive and reactive maintenance activities based on the condition of the client assets.</li><li>Support the client during major incidents by providing recommendations for repairs or restoring failing equipment.</li><li>Challenge OEM on the guidance given to our client and support the client during repairs activities.</li><li>Collaborate with Headquarter colleagues to study or analyse major equipment failures.</li><li>Serve as specific field’s expert technical advisors for our clients on the subject matters.</li><li>This assignment will require the experts to visit the sites jointly with the client maintenance crew.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and training to Client staff.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Id</strong><strong>ea</strong><strong>l Profile</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Formal education, degree or diploma in engineering or related topic and strong hands-on experience in equipment condition monitoring and maintenance.</li><li>5-7 years of experience in testing, assessment and maintenance of power generation systems and equipment (boilers, gas or steam turbines, generators and I&C).</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in teams.</li><li>Demonstrable experience working on complex maintenance projects in the US or Europe.</li><li>Willingness and ability to work as an expat advisor to coach and teach teams.</li><li>Willingness to work in Riyadh or Jeddah and relocate to Saudi Arabia.</li></ul><p><br></p>This is an excellent opportunity to work as an external advisor to one of the largest power & grid operators in the Middle East.
