Assistant Information Technology Manager
Job Description
<ul><li>Design, implement, and project manage major IT projects including system procurement, development, and upgrades </li><li> Identify opportunities and initiate improvement and updating of hardware, software, and systems </li><li> Provide and lead technical consultancy to various project teams to meet project objectives and requirements </li><li> Manage external vendors to ensure technological systems continue to meet the company’s requirements </li><li> Ensure technical and security architecture adheres to the company’s policies and guidelines. </li><li> Maintenance and configuration of servers and storage network </li><li> Maintenance and configuration of computers and devices for use in training purposes </li><li> Maintenance, configuration, and distribution of laptops for staff use </li><li> Maintenance and configuration of network printers and devices </li><li> Maintenance and configuration of network devices including access points, wireless controller, and firewall </li><li> Maintenance and configuration of projectors, teleconferencing, and audio-video equipment </li><li> Updating and managing the phone system </li><li> Creating an IT replacement schedule to ensure all IT equipment is in good working condition</li><li> Training management system, learning management system, and other related information management system</li><li> Computer operating systems </li><li> Productivity software, (e.g. Microsoft suite of applications, Hive, Calendly, Zoom, etc.) </li><li> Software deployment and management </li><li> Management and maintenance of services related to the proper functioning of the company’s website </li><li> Staff training on the appropriate use of software</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> A bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in information communication technology, computer science, or related field. </li><li> Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience </li><li> Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies </li><li> Excellent problem solving, logical thinking skills to isolate and identify potential issues in a complex environment</li><li> Proven ability to deliver IT projects on time, within budget, and of excellent quality</li><li> Possesses relevant knowledge and experience in cloud technologies </li><li> Good project management skills </li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>
