<p><strong>Anesthesia Technician</strong></p><p><strong>Medical City for Military and Security Services </strong></p><p><strong>Muscat, Sultanate of Oman</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>The Medical City for Military and Security Services (MCMSS) in Muscat, Oman is a Tertiary/Quaternary Care level city providing services to patients of different age groups in different specialties. </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>MCMSS is seeking to appoint Anesthesia Technician, </strong>who is a highly motivated individual to develop his/her professional career within the MCMSS. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Education/ Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor or Diploma of Anesthesia Technician from recognized center.</li><li>Internship certificate.</li><li>Fluent in English.</li><li>Valid BLs.</li><li>Current and clean medical license to practice in country of origin/ country of practice</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Experience Post-Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>At least 5 years of post-fellowship experience in Anesthesia Technician </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Job Duties/ Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Assistant for Anesthesiologist including but not limited to: </strong></p><ul><li>Basic anesthesia machine repair.</li><li>Preparation and cleaning of anesthesia machine.</li><li>Mixing the drugs.</li><li>Patient care.</li><li>Helping in post anesthesia recovery room.</li><li>Helping in transferring patients from one unit to another.</li><li>Helping in transferring patients from local hospitals to abroad hospitals. </li><li>Should be in a position to teach the juniors staff.</li><li>Should be thorough with invasive monitoring.</li><li>Participates in health education programs through orientation and scientific presentations.</li><li>Adheres to policies, guidelines, plans and programs of MCMSS.</li><li>Performs all duties assigned to his/her designation.</li><li>Performs all relevant interventions related to his/her field of specialization.</li><li>Completes and maintains his/her set of clinical privileges.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned/directed by the chairperson/ head of the department. </li></ul><p> </p><p>Salary will be based upon qualification, experience and availability of vacancy, using Oman Medical Bylaw.</p><p> </p><p>Interested candidates should apply with CV and letter of interest via the <strong>APPLY</strong> button.</p><p></p>
