ED II / Discipline Piping Designer

<strong>Overview / Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p>Wood is currently Hiring for Piping Designer II with experience in oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, offshore, mining or infrastructure industries having engineering drafting project experience.<p><br><br></p><ul><li> Originate new and revise existing engineering drawings </li><li> Revise and check engineering drawings against company procedures, standards, and checklists </li><li> Prepare complete bill of materials for all assigned drawings </li><li> Supervise CADD work being produced by juniors </li><li> Conduct and receive trainings related to job as required </li><li> Awareness and following of all drafting aspects such as correct use of symbols, layers and formats </li><li> Completion of work within allocated man-hours effectively and plan work to avoid slippage. </li><li> Interfaces, coordinates and communicate effectively with the Project Lead and other team members </li><li> Coordinates with all disciplines (as necessary) in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensure that other disciplines input are incorporated </li><li> Go for site visits and verify site conditions and markup drawings/perform as-built activities </li><li> Manage deliverables submission with required quality checks and proper management of record <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills / Qualifications</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Diploma / Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 Yrs. experience in executing Oil & Gas projects </li><li> The applicant must be Certified by Saudi Council of Engineers </li><li> Mandatory requirements – MS Office, Microstation, Smartplant, Navisworks </li><li> Preferred – AutoCAD, Revit, OpenPlant <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Company Overview</strong><p><br></p>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
