<strong>J O B </strong><p><br></p><strong> D E S C R I P T I O N </strong><p><br></p><strong>JOB TITLE REPORTING TO LOCATION</strong><p><br></p>FP&amp;A Intern<p><br></p>Business Controller<p><br></p>Riyadh, Saudi Arabia<p><br></p><strong>MAIN PURPOSE</strong><p><br></p>The FP&amp;A Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on finance experience and learn about the various aspects of the FP&amp;A function at Richemont. Richemont Saudi Arabia internships provide entry-level professionals with real-world learning opportunities in a fast-paced but positive environment to help build their future careers. S/he will be in charge of assisting with all financial matters related to the activity of the company in the country, in line with Richemont Group accounting and reporting standards.<p><br></p>Under the supervision of the Business Controller, s/he supports in providing local Brand Management with all financial information and analysis required to take relevant and appropriate decisions in order to grow their business in the region in a sustainable way.<p><br></p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p> Assist in the Maison’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting <p><br></p><ul><li> Support in the Maisons’ budget processes : timely preparation, analysis and submission of Budgets and quarterly Latest Estimates, in line with Group requirements and standards. </li></ul><p><br></p> Monitor financial performance and identify risks and opportunities <p><br></p><ul><li> Assist in monthly closing with key stakeholders and accounting team : ensuring that all relevant accounting entries are booked properly, in line with IFRS and Group standards. </li><li> Prepare monthly reports and ad hoc analysis to the Management . </li><li> Support the FP&amp;A team to comment on and explain financial performance. </li></ul><p><br></p> Drive process improvement and Internal Control culture <p><br></p><ul><li> Contributes to the development of a financial / internal control culture within the Brands and spreads best practices across the departments. </li><li> Contributes to the formalization and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures and processes. </li><li> Contributes to the improvement of controlling processes and systems by identifying areas of improvement and leading initiatives and projects to address them. </li></ul><strong> JOB PROFILE </strong><p><br></p> Required experience / technical skills: <br><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or finance is preferred. </li><li> Experience in Accounting / Finance / Audit is a plus;</li><ul><li> background in retail is a plus. </li></ul><li> Finance and accounting knowledge (P/L, BS, CASH). </li><li> Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.</li><ul><li> SAP and/or Anaplan knowledge is an advantage. </li><li> PowerPoint and/or Word proficiency is an advantage. </li></ul><li> Strong communication skills – Fluent in English.</li><ul><li> Arabic and/or French verbal/written skills are an advantage. </li></ul></ul><p><br></p> Required personal skills: <p><br></p><ul><li> High mental agility and ability to deal with complexity. </li><li> Good organizing skills/ ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines. </li><li> Naturally proactive / autonomous / self-starter / eager to learn. </li><li> Willing to take accountability/ownership of work (improvement mindset). </li><li> Adaptable / flexible . High change agility in a fast pace market. </li><li> Collaborative/ enjoys interacting with others / team player.</li></ul>
