Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) is the logistics provider of the world with over 520,000 employees in more than 220 countries and territories.<br><br>DHL Supply chain offers standardized Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage Specialist as well as highly specialized end-to-end solutions to customers in a wide range of industries globally.<br><br>Currently, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the role of <u><strong>Finance Directo</strong></u>r, in Al Khobar.<br><br><strong>Objective:<br><br></strong><ul><li> Contribute to design and lead implementation of Finance strategy in the country to maintain short and long-term financial health, and partner, advise and challenge the management team in line with country business strategy, financial policies, legal framework, and accounting standards.<br><br></li></ul>Duties Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li> Contribute to the definition of the Finance strategy for a medium to large country including all financial management services, planning, analysis, reporting, and budgets considering country business strategy, financial policies, legal framework, and accounting standards.</li><li> Lead, plan, organize and deliver Finance initiatives, services, and processes to achieve financial transparency, maintain short and long-term financial health, and advise the management team.</li><li> Professional leader, line, and budget manager for finance function with higher focus on operational finance activities of the country.</li><li> Provide guidance and consulting on financial matters to senior business team, drawing on specialist colleagues as needed.</li><li> Provide financial management and controlling services to specific business area(s) of medium scale/ complexity.</li><li> Ensure financial service delivery, process improvement, implementation of financial changes.</li><li> Resolve complex and more difficult controlling issues such as adjusting for taxes, VAT, varying local legal requirements, etc.</li><li> Maintain vendor/ service relationship and service level agreements with specific business unit/ partner for various financial services such as outsourced accounting.</li><li> Develop and implement improvements in existing financial processes, systems and methods for enhanced effectiveness and efficiency.</li><li> Closely work with Country MD, assist, and support on business decision and strategy.</li><li> Manage all key financial risks of the business and take appropriate measures for mitigation.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications and Skills Required:<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree in finance & Accounting. (Mandatory)</li><li> Profession Finance & Accounting Qualification like CPA, ACA. (Mandatory)</li><li> MBA in Finance, Accounting, economics, or business administration. (Preferable)</li><li> 15+ Years’ Experience in finance & Accounting, with at least 10 years of leadership experience (Mandatory)</li><li> Proven experience as heading finance dept or senior finance roles</li><li> In depth knowledge of corporate financial policies and risk management practices</li><li> Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods</li><li> Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., Oracle)</li><li> An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.</li><li> FD must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations.</li><li> Negotiate critical agreements/contracts with other departments and 3rd parties.</li><li> Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders with in the group</li><li> Influence various stakeholder groups & getting recognized as a thought leader representing the company.</li><li> Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems.<br><br></li></ul>As the world’s largest contract logistics specialist, we create competitive advantage for customers through customized logistics solutions based on globally standardized warehousing, transportation and integrated services components.
