<strong><strong><strong><strong>Job Description Summary</strong></strong></strong> </strong>EHS Lead is an individual who provides day-to-day EHS support for service activities and projects and currently tend to be based in Morocco &amp; support entire Africa Region. (Morocco, Algeria, Egypt &amp; Sub Sahara) He/She is equivalent to plant level EHS professionals and provide immediate, direct support to field service employees that work at customer sites &amp; all other sites. Jobs include, training, inspections, customer interaction around planning and job execution. He/She will be the first line contact for the field service engineers as they manage day to day EHS issues in service work.<strong> <strong>Job Description</strong> </strong><p><br></p><strong><u>Roles And Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensuring applicable legal requirements have been properly identified and are complied with.</li><li>Preparing periodic project EHS reporting / KPIs and communicate it to relevant distribution list.</li><li>Preparing the EHS Plan and any other required site-specific EHS document (e.g. environmental management Plan, Emergency Response Plan, Traffic Management Plan…) applicable to the project or review such documents prepared by the Partner in case of a TKP project. Lead project EHS kick-off meeting with Partner if any &amp; conduct weekly/monthly EHS meetings</li><li>Following-up with the GE EHS Manager the deployment and maintenance of a consistent site EHS management at site where GE is leading the site. Track and support deployment of any EHS initiative or changes in the EHS requirements for the project.</li><li>Reviewing Commissioning Safety Rule / Log Out Tag Out (LOTO) and procedures prepared by Partner or contractor.</li><li>Ensuring coordination of LOTO activities to ensure as per approved diagrams &amp; ensure GE has full control on LOTO.</li><li>Preparing Site Close-Out Report – lessons learned and continuous improvement to support the ITO phase for new projects.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Required Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>4-5 years of experience in the Environmental Health &amp; Safety &amp; Services and Projects.</li><li>A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college – Engineering field preferred</li><li>ISO 18001 &amp; NEBOSH certifications</li><li>Fluent in French</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to document, plan, execute programs</li><li>Willing to travel on short notices &amp; on planned modes</li><li>Having good interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization</li></ul><strong> <strong><strong><strong>Additional Information</strong></strong></strong> </strong><p><br></p><strong>Relocation Assistance Provided: </strong>No
