<strong>Marketing Communications Executive – Middle East<br> </strong> <br> <p>Role and Responsibilities (this is a broad but not exhaustive list)<br></p><p><strong>Events<br></strong></p><ul><li>Support the planning, delivery, analysis, reporting and follow up on a variety of targeted events such as seminars, webinars, workshops, receptions and other client hospitality.</li><li>Produce Return on Investment reports post each event to improve follow-up on new business leads and key clients and intermediaries’ relationship building.</li><li>Working with the central events team to ensure best practice and consistency of events across CRS offices.<br></li></ul><p><strong>PR/Profile Raising<br></strong></p><ul><li>Supporting the wider BD &amp; RM team in helping identify and coordinate PR activity.</li><li>Undertake ad hoc desk research on markets, sectors, industries, organisations and individuals of relevance to specific business development initiatives.</li><li>Supporting the BDM to organise any necessary BD/Marketing training for partners/fee earners.</li><li>Supporting the BDM, working with fee earners, the PR team and our PR agency on the coordination of PR activity for the Middle East, including the management of the Middle East content plan. </li><li>Maintain and regularly refresh all Middle East marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, website content, bulletin/newsletters etc. These are regularly updated with new hires, new experience, case wins, so it is vital that these are kept up to date and relevant.</li><li>Working with the central PR and communications team to ensure best practice across CRS offices.<br></li></ul><p><strong>Directory and award submissions<br></strong></p><ul><li>Co-ordinate the legal directory and award submissions process, liaising with partners and the research teams ensuring that submissions are in the correct format and delivered on time.</li><li>Work closely with our PR and MarComms team to produce timely press releases, social media announcements and internal communication.<br></li></ul><p><strong>Digital<br></strong></p><ul><li>Supporting the maintenance and updating of the firm’s website.</li><li>Updating specific webpages on the firm’s internal website produced by BD&amp;M team.</li><li>Helping the BDM to gather and report on relevant web analytics.</li><li>Working with the BDM and marketing communications team, helping in the delivery of social and other digital media </li><li>Creating and maintaining internet content for the Middle East.</li><li>Support and work with the CRM team on the maintenance and development of InterAction, our CRM (e.g. mailing list cleansing) and being a ‘champion’ within the rest of the firm.</li><li>Working with the central digital team to ensure best practice across CRS offices.<br></li></ul><p><strong>Internal Communications<br></strong></p><ul><li>Coordinating a monthly Middle East newsletterto showcase local activity and promote collaboration.</li><li>Submitting content for the firmwide newsletter and other channels to promote the Middle East offices internally.</li><li>Maintain the Middle East pages on the firm intranet, The Hive.</li><li>Supporting internal events such as ‘Lunch and Learns’ to promote the Middle East offices across the firm<br></li></ul><ul><li>Involvement in and support for firm wide projects, initiatives or campaigns where appropriate and requested<br></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<br></strong></p><ul><li>1-2 minimum years’ experience in legal marketing and/or an international law firm or other professional services environment is desirable</li><li>Experience working with senior stakeholders and developing strong relationships</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills – the role involves liaison with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level and internationally</li><li>Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Some knowledge of marketing databases (preferably InterAction/Vuture) would be advantageous<br></li></ul><p><strong>Person specification<br></strong></p><ul><li>Flair for the ‘sales’ side of professional services marketing</li><li>Able to influence at all levels</li><li>A proven track record of results</li><li>Experience of the professional services environment</li><li>Good academic record</li><li>Able to deal effectively with conflicting requirements</li><li>Able to adapt and respond at short notice<br></li></ul><p><strong>Technical skills<br></strong></p><p>• computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint<br></p><p>• some knowledge of marketing databases (preferably InterAction)<br></p><p><strong>Competencies<br></strong></p><ul><li>Client centric</li><li>Collaborative working</li><li>Commercial thinking</li><li>Ethical practice<br></li></ul><p>For a detailed specification please download the job description in the documents section of this page.<br></p><p><em>Clicking ‘apply’ will direct you to the application tracking system, hosted for us by Reach-ATS.com.<br></em></p><br><br> Apply for this role
