Are you ready to embrace the future with us?</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Type:</strong>&nbsp;Full-time.</p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Successful candidate must be a resident of Doha-Qatar or Abu Dhabi-United Arab Emirates</p><p><br></p><p>The Technical Analyst will join our team to provide users with outstanding technical support and training for our products, including StarSteer. The ideal candidate should have a passion to provide technical demos and trainings for our clients. We are looking for a client-focused individual who works well in a fast-paced environment, and who has a technical background in the geosciences.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide Technical sales &amp; workflow presentations to clients (online and in person).</li><li>Onsite support and multi-day trainings with clients with some travel required.</li><li>Customer Technical Support (phone, email) including possible calls during evenings and weekends.</li><li>Supporting our sales team with engaging technical demonstrations.</li><li>Tracking of client’s bugs and new features requests.</li><li>Other tasks related to all above.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>4-year degree in Earth Sciences or Engineering.</li><li>Intermediate to Advanced ability with StarSteer geosteering software.</li><li>Strong knowledge of drilling operations and operations geology workflows.</li><li>Geologic knowledge of a variety of North American plays and play types.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and spoken; experience creating and delivering presentations.</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft office products and Google Docs.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional beneficial experience:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Working knowledge of Python.</li><li>Experience with geoscience software (Petrel, Kingdom, GeoGraphix, etc).</li><li>Computer science and/or IT troubleshooting experience.</li><li>Customer service experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>At ROGII, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
