About 5,000 employees from 84 nations are currently realizing the projects of our customers with professional knowledge and intercultural experience.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p>The O&amp;M and Defect Liability Management Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of all railway systems and infrastructure during the project’s construction and commissioning phases. The role requires an experienced individual who can lead and manage the maintenance and defect liability activities of the railway project.<p><br></p><ul><li>Develop, implement and manage the Operation and Maintenance (O&amp;M) plan for the railway project in accordance with the relevant industry standards and regulations.</li><li>Coordinate with the project team and external stakeholders to ensure the O&amp;M plan is integrated into the project schedule and budget.</li><li>Manage and supervise the O&amp;M team to ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.</li><li>Develop and implement the Defect Liability Management (DLM) plan to ensure timely resolution of defects and ensure that defects are recorded, tracked and managed effectively.</li><li>Monitor and manage the performance of the O&amp;M contractors and suppliers and ensure that their work is carried out to the required standard.</li><li>Develop and implement training programs to ensure that O&amp;M staff are competent and fully trained in all aspects of railway maintenance.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards.</li><li>Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that all O&amp;M and DLM activities are integrated into the overall project plan.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.</li><li>At least 10 years of experience in railway systems operation and maintenance, including significant experience in defect liability management.</li><li>Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing O&amp;M and DLM plans.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.</li><li>Experience in working in a construction or engineering environment.</li></ul><p><br></p>
