<p><strong>About the Business: </strong></p><p><br></p><p>Al Wusta Fisheries Industries Company is a subsidiary of Fisheries Development Oman. The company has been established as part of Oman’s desire to further develop the Fisheries sector in the Sultanate towards 2040.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Objective:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>To achieve Customer Acquisition, Market Share and meet the revenue set in the Business Plan through targeting the addressable markets for all commercial fishing in company’s product portfolio. In addition, developing Marketing, Product and Pricing Strategies to deliver envisaged Project economics. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Responsible for developing business strategy, business plan, distribution plan and sales as per market demand of products.</li><li>Develop sales forecast and sales budget for the local &amp; international markets.</li><li>Manage budgets, expenses and pricing and sales arrangements.</li><li>Analyse the business performance by customer, territory, and region, including the profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of products/solutions sold.</li><li>Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget.</li><li>Responsible for planning new account strategies, prospecting new accounts, making sales’ calls, generating positive word of mouth, developing, and quoting rates, negotiating contracts and closing sales.</li><li>Ensuring prompt resolution of customer complaints or problems as well as managing the day-to-day sales &amp; logistic.</li><li>Explore and maximize opportunities through measurable process.</li><li>Take responsibility on all company generated leads through all marketing channels (Website, social media, direct marketing, Events, etc.).</li><li>Build good relationships with potential customers in order to address their needs, follow up on a regular basis by gathering all necessary information by all means of correspondence.</li><li>Work with the Operations in-charge to develop and manage system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue, and profit parameters.</li><li>Build in the key elements of cost position in the Marketing &amp; Sales Plan to provide clarity to the operations team on efficiency drivers.</li><li>Establish strong communication with the operation team to assure proper management of sales and customers’ satisfaction.</li><li>Regular contact with existing key clients to ensure understanding of changing customer needs so to ensure high level of service delivery.</li><li>Contribute towards development of talent for the division by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities.</li><li>Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the management.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Sales &amp; Marketing or any other relevant field.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Experience:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of 8 years’ experience preferably in the seafood industry.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Competencies:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li> Credibility</li><li>Time Management </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Ethical behavior</li><li>High Secrecy</li><li>Analytical Skills.</li><li>Integrity</li><li>Problem Solving</li><li>Translation</li><li>Diplomacy and Discretion</li><li>Results Oriented</li><li>Decision Making</li></ul>
